Who we are

The Pin Studio is run by Filipa Santos, a sole trader based in Portugal. If you have a question about this policy, or about anything we hold about you, write to hello@thepinstudio.co.

What we collect

Only what you type into a form, and only when you choose to send it.

The free audit form asks for your Pinterest profile and your email address. The contact form asks for your name and email address, optionally your Pinterest profile and website, and whatever you write in the message box.

That is everything. There is nothing on this site that follows you around or builds a profile of you in the background.

Why we hold it

To look at your account, to write back to you, and — if you decide to work with us — to do the work. That is the only use. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone else for marketing.

Where it goes

What you send is stored in this website’s own database, hosted by Hostinger inside the European Union, and a copy is emailed to us so that we notice it. It is not sent anywhere else.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted within twelve months. If you become a client, we keep your records for as long as we are working together, and afterwards for the period Portuguese tax law requires.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel and no Pinterest tag. The typefaces are served from this site’s own server, so visiting the page sends no request to Google or to any other third party. WordPress sets a cookie only for someone who logs in to administer the site.

Server logs

Our host records standard technical information — IP address, browser, pages requested — as every web server does, for security and troubleshooting. Your IP address is also held for thirty seconds after you submit a form, to stop the same message being sent over and over.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it at all. Write to hello@thepinstudio.co and we will do it — no forms and no conditions.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you can complain to the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), the Portuguese data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
